Now that toll operators have pushed through with transitioning to cashless payments this December, the need for more RFID installation stations keep growing as car owners scramble to get both AutoSweep and EasyTrip RFID stickers installed on their vehicles.
With lines growing and even causing gridlock traffic at some tollways, people are looking for alternative locations where they can have their RFID stickers installed without having to deal with the crazy traffic.
Beginning November of this year, Vista Mall has partnered with EasyTrip by putting up temporary RFID installation stations at select Vista Malls in key locations. The partnership has been well received by customers in the South as this allowed them to get their stickers installed without the hassle of going to overcrowded toll plazas and installation sites in Metro Manila. Moving to the North, EasyTrip RFID installation is available at the following Vista Malls on these dates:
- Vista Mall Pampanga December 17 & 19, 2020
- Vista Mall Bataan December 21, 2020
For its malls located in the South, Vista Mall has partnered with AutoSweep this time around. The AutoSweep temporary installation stations will be available for longer to accommodate more customers given that AutoSweep RFID is the one used along South Luzon Expressway, Skyway, NAIA Expressway, and STAR Tollway. Here is the schedule for AutoSweep RFID installation:
- Vista Mall Daang Hari December 18, 2020 – January 18, 2021
- NOMO – A Vista Lifestyle Center December 21, 2020 – January 21, 2021
Both RFID installation caravans will follow a first come, first served basis and can only accommodate customers as long as supplies last. The installation is free of charge and customers are only required to pay a minimum initial load amount.
Installation will be done by EasyTrip and AutoSweep personnel so customers can be assured that their stickers will be installed correctly by trained individuals. The stations can only accommodate Class 1 vehicles and will enforce a strict no vehicle, no installation policy. Vista Mall and NOMO’s management reiterate that their COVID-19 protocols remain in place to ensure the health and safety of everyone. Proper physical distancing and wearing of face masks and face shields will be strictly monitored by roving personnel and violators will be apprehended.
